Publication Ethics

Accordingly, the journal includes scientific research and articles, critical or scientific reviews, translated works, summaries of MA theses and PhD dissertations along with research derived from them, and reports of conferences, seminars and workshops.

Publication ethics:

It is the responsibility of the authors to ensure that the article has not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere by any authority, and that there are no ethical issues regarding the contents or method of data collection, as the journal follows the policy of COPE as stated on the website:

The publication of an article in a peer-reviewed journal is an essential building block in the development of a coherent and respected network of knowledge. It is a direct reflection of the quality of work of the authors and the institutions that support them. Peer-reviewed articles, in essence, support and embody the scientific and academic method. It is therefore of great importance to agree upon standards of expected ethical behaviour as follows:

First: Responsibilities of Reviewers

  • Confidentiality: Reviewers should not share any information from an assigned manuscript with anyone, or copy, quote or use the data in any other way or form without a prior permission from the editor.
  • Expertise and competence: Reviewer with fair expertise should complete the review process. Assigned reviewers with inadequate expertise should feel responsible and may decline the review as it is presumed that reviewer will be an expert in the field of the article.
  • Constructive assessment: Reviewer comments should appreciate positive aspects of the work, identify negative aspects constructively, and indicate the enhancement needed. Reviewers should explain and support their judgment clearly enough that the editors and authors can understand the basis of the comments.
  • Impartiality and integrity: Reviewer’s decision should solely depend on scientific merit, relevance to the subject, and scope of the journal rather than financial, racial, or ethnic reasons.
  • Timeliness and responsiveness: Reviewers should morally abide to provide the review comments within the stipulated time and be active enough in responding to the queries raised by the editor if there are any.

Second: Responsibilities of Authors

  • Authorship: Authors should adhere to the authorship criteria. All listed authors must have made a significant contribution to the research presented in the manuscript and approved all its claims. Any person to be considered as an author of an original research article must have contributed in any of the following ways: designing or executing the study, conducting the experiments, or taking part in analysing the data, documenting the article and drawing the conclusion.
  • Originality: The article submitted for publication in the journal must be original in its specific scientific major, based on accurate methodological foundations, and written in a sound foreign language without any linguistic or grammatical errors.
  • Falsification or fabrication of data: Authors must be sure that all data in submitted article is clear and accurate. The editors of the journal may contact the authors to provide supporting raw data. In case of the explanation is not satisfactory enough, the submission will be immediately rejected, and necessary actions will be taken.
  • Orientation and responsibilities of authors: Research articles published in the journal do not have any political or religious orientation, but rather they are specialized scientific manuscripts that express the viewpoint of their authors without necessarily reflecting that of the journal. Moreover, the validity of the data and information included in the research is the authors’ own responsibility and not the journal’s.
